ADFS does not redirect to RP after authentication

ADFS does not redirect to RP after authentication.

The above link is a similar problem but this got resoved by enabling cookies, i dont think that is the problem with mine.
When i hit https://linked.com , it got to adfs login page, https://adfs.local.com. After authenticating, ADFS does not redirect back to https://linked.com
