ADFS 2.0 and SAP SSO

Hi,

We are using ADFS quite extensively in our environment. Current we have Federated SSO for Webex, and 2 Cloud based application.

Now We are looking for options to establish SSO for our SAP side. Basically SAP Netweaver 7.02+

I have following Questions:

1. Is it in any way possible to implement SSO using ADFS 2,0 and SAP for the SAP GUI directly? or we can do only with web part enabled on SAP side? As per my understanding all ADFS traffic is browser based.

2. What are the options to achieve SSO between ADFS 2.0 and SAP? I found one which states Microsoft Sharepoint 2010, Shibboleth 2.0 and SAP. Is there something we can do directly between ADFS 2.0 and SAP?
