Connect to tfspreview from MVC4 application

Hello everyone

I am currently developing an MVC4 web application which should be able to access work items in tfspreview. To do this I have to be able to dynamically authorize users to access tfspreview team projects (there will be multiple users connecting to multiple projects). After 3 days of searching and testing solutions I reached a dead end. Since it is a website (which will be running on azure as well) I was trying to gain access to team projects using username and password of users.

I booked 'some' progress by using a tool in windows 8 (http://blog.hinshelwood.com/tfs-service-credential-viewer/). This gives you credentials which allow you to access tfspreview team projects using a username: Account Service ( USERNAME ) and password: Token/Key. When I run this tool and using the given credentials I am able to access team projects dynamically.

This is not the solution I am looking for though. I read the blog post and as said: "Once you have authenticated as a TFS Collection Administrator to your hosted TFS Collection we use the Access Control Service to provision a service identity that you can use for unattended connections to Team Foundation Service (TFS Preview).". They are using ACS to provision a service identity.

I it possible to do this internally in my MVC4 application?

Is there any documentation of how I can get the credentials and token?

Or, maybe a better solution to my problem?

Thanks in advance

Koen
